Common Problems with Air Conditioning Systems Prevented by A/C Tune Ups

  • Refrigerant Leaks- A refrigerant leak throughout your lines can lead to hundreds of extra dollars spent throughout the course of a St Louis or St Charles Summer due to your air conditioner not properly cooling your home.  Vitt technicians review your refrigerant levels while also looking for any signs of potential leaks.
  •  Dirty Air Filter- Having a dirty air filter at the beginning of a warm season can be extremely detrimental to the functionality of your air conditioning system throughout the Summer.  Make sure to change your AC filter once a month throughout the Summer to ensure maximum efficiency throughout your air system.
  • Cooling Coils- Over time, the cooling coils in your air conditioner can become dirty as dirt and debris build up.  Dirty cooling coils lead to your air conditioner having problems removing the heat from your home.  With an AC tune up from Vitt Heating & Cooling, our service technicians can ensure the cooling coils on your air conditioner are clean and ready to go.
